On Sunday, October 8th from 3:00 until 6:00, M&W will host a Charity Wine Tasting at the Bakery Cafe located at 1104 Dauphin Street. The event will benefit the Central Presbyterian Church Playground Project. The cost is $25 per person. Over 25 different wines will be featured at the tasting. In addition, there will be a raffle for door prizes and a silent auction for fine vintage wines and other items. Raffle tickets will be sold at the event for $1.00 each, 12 for $10.00 or 30 for $25. Must be 21 years old to attend. The playground will be constructed on church property in mid-town Mobile. This is the second fund raising event sponsored by M&W for this project. A previous event in February raised over $4000.00. The total projected cost for the playground is $25,000 and several other M&W fund raising projects are in the works.
